The role
A fire breaks out on a ship carrying 8,000 containers, and spreads quickly. Salvage tugs are mobilised and the fire is eventually extinguished. The damaged ship is towed into a nearby port, but the shipowner is faced with huge disruption to their commercial operations and mounting costs. The shipowner appoints an average adjuster to assist with this major casualty.

We are looking for junior executive administrator to support our Marine teams on Adjusting security collection cases and potential adjusting trainings in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides proactive and strategic diary management resolving conflicts, and understanding the purpose and desired outcomes to maximise efficiency and operations of the Executive
- Manages multiple destination travel logistics including full itinerary of arrangements at regional offices
- Responsible for all day-to-day administrative tasks
- Provides comprehensive email inbox management, ensuring timely and efficient handling of correspondence on behalf of the Executive
- Answers simple emails
- Deals with confidential matters with confidence, answers basic queries and deals with stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Undertakes ad-hoc research
- Assists with the production of documents, including board reports, agendas, minutes and presentations
- Prepares systems to track workflow & responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates corporate and social events as necessary
- Assists project teams in timely completion of projects
- Reviews and approves expense reports whenever required on behalf of the internal stakeholders
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with utmost discretion and always maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to connect business priorities with a strategic approach to work, understanding Executive’s objectives, goals and KPIs
- Highly organised, methodical and logical approach to work and feel comfortable engaging with senior individuals.
