The Role Purpose

The Training and Development Coach plays a pivotal role in the continuous learning journey of existing employees at CT Assistance, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and customer service skills needed to achieve their learning milestones and excel in their roles. The successful candidate will join an established, collaborative, growth-oriented Training and Development team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and deliver a comprehensive, structured, and effective coaching program for all staff, suitable for both online and in-person sessions
  • Collaborate with managers and team leaders to identify coaching needs and tailor coaching plans accordingly
  • Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to support employees in their development
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of individuals, providing constructive feedback and adjusting coaching methods as needed
  • Maintain and update coaching materials and resources to ensure they are current and relevant
  • Collect and analyse feedback to assess the effectiveness of coaching programs and make improvements
  • Foster a positive and supportive coaching environment that encourages growth and development
  • Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and best practices to continuously improve coaching effectiveness

Person Specification: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain information clearly and engagingly. Paying full attention to the speaker, understanding their message, and responding thoughtfully 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust and rapport with individuals
  • High levels of empathy and patience; able to support individuals through challenges 
  • Adaptability and flexibility to adjust coaching methods based on individual needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to identify issues and develop effective solutions. Providing feedback that is specific, actionable, and aimed at improvement. Identifying issues and developing effective solutions
  • Organisational skills; able to plan and manage coaching programs efficiently
  • IT savvy; comfortable with using technology for online coaching sessions and managing coaching resources
  • Energy - must possess tangible levels of energy and drive, and a determination to help others succeed. Maintaining a positive attitude and motivating learners to achieve their goals, even in difficult situations

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant coaching certification or qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field  
  • Proven experience in coaching or a related role
