The Role

A Charles Taylor InsureTech (CTI) Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for several accounts identified by the Sales Director. The role requires the BDM to maintain the existing relationship whilst identifying and developing relationships with all types of buyer within the organisation, in order to maximise wallet share by selling outcome driven solutions; to enable long term multi-million-pound revenues

A new business sales person evidencing a consultative approach to new business selling, from opportunity qualification, bid management, though to successful closure.  experience from opportunity through to Other responsibilities include prospecting in other departments of the client if appropriate, arranging and/or demonstrations of additional software, maintaining long-term business relationships with key stake holders, Account planning, solving customers' problems, ensuring excellent customer service is provided, coordinating with the technical department, ensuring excellent customer service experience to all users, reporting, meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

Required skills

  • Demonstrable record of selling million pound plus deals
  • Demonstrable gravitas to communicating, presenting and influencing key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, from C-level down to
  • Experience in using sales CRM software
  • Manage internal departments to achieve timely delivery on all projects
  • Evidence of delivering client-focused solutions to maximizing customer outcomes and profit driven solutions
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Insurance knowledge desirable
