Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
As a senior member within Charles Taylor Assistance's IT team, you will be responsible for day to day technical tasks within the team. Charles Taylor Assistance (formerly CEGA) is operational 24/7/365 and offers services with strict service level agreements at multiple locations. Experience of supporting a similar sized environment of 550 plus users across multiple locations is highly desirable.
This role will be a mixture of BAU whilst working on multiple projects. This is a "hands-on" role and you will be an escalation point for third line technical issues as well as providing technical management of server hardware, software, and configuration. You will also be able to take part in the IT Support third line out of hours call roster.

Responsibilities

  • Managing server/network infrastructure
  • Preventative monitoring and management of systems
  • Technical projects (design to implementation)
  • Server/network migrations and upgrades
  • Research new technologies
  • Promote continuous improvement
  • BCP and DR planning

Ad Hoc Duties
Your key accountabilities will include such other duties and tasks are as allocated to you at the discretion of management and that are within your capabilities and within the scope of your post.

  • Windows 2008+
  • Exchange 2010 and higher
