Customer Service - Travel Insurance

Location: Christchurch, Dorset

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week, various shifts, includes weekends

Part time applicants can be considered but will need to be avilable to attend training on full time hours for a period of 3 weeks at induction.

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 (depending on experience)

Due to or expansion plans we are currently looking to add to our teams across a variety of positions. The roles on offer include:

  • Customer Service Advisors in our Medical Risk Assessment team, receiving in-coming calls from customers wishing to update their travel insurance medical records. The purpose of this role is to help customers through the process of declaring any pre-existing medical conditions, ensuring they fully understand any restrictions on their travel insurance policy, whilst ensuring delivery of first class customer service. 
  • Customer Service Advisors in our Claims Handling team providing essential support to our customers - this will involve assessing new claims, checking documents and reviewing policy terms as well as making decisions on claims approval or decline.

We would welcome applications from candidates who have:

  • Excellent telephony based customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A confident, articulate and enthusiastic manner
  • Experience in a telephone or customer facing role
  • Experience of working in the insurance industry
  • A good standard of education
