Our contact centre is open 24/7 365 days per year serving millions of customers on behalf of the biggest travel insurance companies. In the heart of our medical assistance department, our busy administration support team are vital in making sure that our customers' cases are progressing to a successful conclusion. Working alongside our case managers, a typical day would see all the usual admin tasks undertaken - but the difference with a job at CEGA is that we save lives so answering that phone call or responding quickly to that email could make all the difference. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain customer service skills in a contact centre environment and many of our administrators have progressed to other positions within CEGA.

This role includes:

  • General maintenance of the administration email folder
  • Using the system to update or modify customer information
  • Opening new cases and tasking on to relevant case managers
  • Contacting GP's to confirm customer payments received and chase outstanding reports
  • Contacting customers to chase outstanding documentation
  • Fielding incoming telephone calls to the appropriate case manager and/or taking messages

We would welcome applications from candidates who have:

  • Experience in a telephone or customer facing role
  • A confident, articulate and enthusiastic manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills - competent at using Outlook and navigating IT systems
  • A good standard of education

In addition we are particularly interested in candidates with foreign language skills, with preference for French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic and German speakers. We pay a generous supplement for each fluent language spoken.

  • Hours:  37.5 hours per week, 8-4pm, 9-5pm, 10-6pm, 12-8pm on a rostered pattern, weekends also involved with days in lieu given back.
  • Salary:  £16,000 per annum + benefits + language allowance if necessary
